  • The tedious part of MO is how to manage the left panel.
  • MO handles required methods during mod installations/updates on it's own. This does not mean that BSAs should be unpacked for it. While MO installs all files to separate mod folders, it also attempts to treat all of them as loose files.
  • In usual installation loose files will win all conflicts against the ones packed in to BSA archives.
  • This will also disable loose files from the mod. You can disable mod folder from left panel for another profile. Such mods need to be fully uninstalled in NMM, if you want to make a second ongoing game, for example mod testing purposes.

This points to fact that disabling ESP file in NMM or Manual does not disable loose files that might have came with the mod. I'm very interested in learning more though, so please feel free to share as much of your knowledge as you like. I'm still very new to PC gaming and modding and I'm not especially computer savvy. I've tried to research it a bit online, but everything I read about it starts to get to technical for me. However, please try to dumb it down to as simple of terms as you can. Basically, I'd appreciate any and all info about it you can provide me with. How do I get it set up? What are the differences between it and NMM? Do you know of any good tutorials out there for it? Etcetera etcetera. Originally posted by The Emerald Falcon:In that case, I'm looking to learn more about how to use MO.
